Product description
FETTE′s compacting tools are differentiated through the following norming termini, EU „B“ (EU19/TSM19) and EU „D“ (EU1“/TSM1“). Additionally FETTE can provide the self-developed shape for the punch head EU1“-441 as a standard material. In the meantime nearly all customers ask for this type of tooling with its obvios benefits:
  • longer pressure holding time
  • higher yield
  • less vibration
  • less wear on machine and tooling
  • lower sound emission

Tools that are not in compliance withe the obove mentioned standards, like the EU45 punches, primarily used for cleaning detergents, are also part of the portfolio.

The highest priority lies on the self-obliged level of quailty FETTE is standing for. Finding its result in the narrow fieds of tolerance choosen, as considered in the TSM-Manual or in the DIN-ISO 18084. A perfect match between the machine and the tooling is the undoubteble advantage of this package:

  • longer lifetime of the tooling
  • longer lifetime of machine parts
  • less maintenance
  • shorter unproductive times
  • optimised lubrication
  • reduced cost for spare parts
WiP-Version
According to the WIP (washing in place) program invented by FETTE, we as a system provider offer the fitting compacting tools (dies, punches and segments) for those special machines.
The essential characteristics the tools need for this particular use, are achieved with the help of some special steels an a new type of processing invented especially for the production of the WIP-tools.
Those tools are also very recommendable with the production of corrosive products because they are excellent resistant to corrosion and very resistance to wear.
It is important, that the WIP-steels are as well as our other tool-steels easy to harden.
The application area of our high-alloyed steels is not just limited to our WIP-presses. They are also used with other rotary press, regardless of which manufacturer, to produce corrosive products.
