TAKING GLOBAL RESPONSIBILITY – INTERPACK 2014 IN REVIEW

Participants from 120 nations focused on one main question: How can you make your production even more efficient while maintaining the very highest quality standards? At Interpack 2014 in Düsseldorf, some 175,000 trade visitors from all over the world went in search of new approaches for the future of pharma and food production. Countless discussions at the Fette Compacting booth proved that a machine builder’s responsibility goes far beyond the machine itself.

“The success of an industry fair is reflected in meetings and discussions with very knowledgeable trade visitors,” explains Rainer Krugmann, Global Director Sales at Fette Compacting. “That is why participants came to Interpack from all over the world. Our many meetings with them clearly showed just how great the pressure is for efficiency and quality in tablet production. As machine builders we want to – and can – take responsibility for answering this not only with new technologies, but also with specialized services and comprehensive expertise in all areas of tablet production.”

FE75 delivers maximum tableting efficiency

Fette Compacting presented the FE75 tablet press and its numerous technological innovations for the very first time at Interpack 2014. The world premiere was transmitted to all continents as a live video stream. The detailed presentation of the new press was also broadcast live on the Internet in different languages.

As a double-sided rotary press with a production output of over 1.6 million tablets per hour, the FE75 sets new standards for efficiency in the production of large batches. It is designed for single and double layer tableting as well as direct compression. The new machine rounds off the FE Series, which also includes the FE55 and FE35 single sided rotary presses and now offers solutions for all conceivable production scenarios.

Responsibility through strategic cooperation

At Interpack, Fette Compacting also launched its expanded range of OEE consulting services and presented a new service portal with its Excellence United partners which enables worldwide direct contact with specialists around the clock. With these comprehensive consulting and service offerings, Fette Compacting goes beyond simply providing technology and assumes responsibility for customers’ overall production.

“It was precisely this close interlocking of technology, service and expertise that attracted most support during our discussions with customers at Interpack,” says Krugmann. Visitors to the booth showed a great interest in new collaborative partnerships, for example, in the fields of preventive maintenance and OEE consulting. “The most important success of the fair for us is the strong strategic cooperation and the high level of trust that we received from our customers.”
