Coronavirus (Covid-19) – Information for Fette Compacting customers and business partners

We hope you and your loved ones are well. Against the backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic, we would like to let you know how we are handling the situation at Fette Compacting and the operative requirements arising as a result.

Despite all of the decisions that we need to make, our top priority is to protect your health and the health of all our employees as well as to prevent infection. In doing so, we are acting in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization and the respective official rules and specifications of local authorities.

Moreover, we are aware of the important role of tablet and capsule production, e.g. for the pharmaceutical industry, and will support you in your activities during these special times.

In order to supply you as usual, we are doing everything in our power to secure business operations at all sites. Cross-border flows of goods have only been restricted in a few countries to date and we currently have full delivery capability.

We have taken all requisite measures to ensure our continued production and supply of machines, spare parts, and tableting tools. This also applies for key parts, assemblies, and peripheral equipment procured by us from other suppliers.

In terms of goods dispatch and handling, we have issued binding international guidelines for disinfecting mailings or consignments in an effort to minimize the risk of infection.

Factory acceptance tests (FATs) are being carried out as planned and on the basis of video conference systems set up for this purpose.

In order to keep your production up and running, our service technicians and specialists are also supporting you on the basis of various digital communication solutions which we agree with you individually.

Urgent on-site assignments may be subject to restrictions by local authorities. On the basis of our international service network, we will collaborate with you to agree on adequate solutions for your most urgent needs.

Even in times of social distancing, we would like to support you with our competence and our worldwide network in the best possible manner. Our employees remain available for personal contact via various touchpoints (telephone, email, SmartRemote, etc.).

Speed up your decision-making with our mobile interface – even without cloud connection

SmartInterface provides access to real-time production data from anywhere at any time. This server-based application enables the monitoring of tablet press production processes on mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets. The KPI dashboard provides a simple overview of the current production and machine status. The monitoring functions make it possible to record and export all process values. SmartInterface is only active within your IT network and does not require a connection from your machine to any cloud-based service.
