Thank you for visiting our website. Below, we have compiled information on the processing of your personal data as required by applicable data protection laws.
Controller
The controller responsible for collecting and processing the data described below is the entity indicated in the legal note (Legal note: Fette Compacting).
Usage data
When you access our website, usage data is temporarily stored on our web server for the purpose of statistical analysis to improve the quality of the website. These data are recorded in log files and include:
- The name and address of the requested file;
- The date and time of the request;
- The amount of data transmitted;
- The access status (file transferred, file not found);
- A description of the type of browser used;
- The reference link indicating the website that redirected the user to our website;
- The IP address of the device that made the request, which is abbreviated to prevent direct association with a data subject.
The data mentioned are stored in an anonymized format.
Necessary cookies
We use cookies on our websites that are strictly necessary for their operation.
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device that can be read later. A distinction is made between session cookies, which are deleted when the browser is closed, and persistent cookies, which remain stored after the session has ended.
Strictly necessary cookies are not used for analysis, tracking or advertising purposes.
Some of these cookies only contain information related to specific settings and are not attributable to a data subject. They can also be indispensable for enabling website navigation, security and functionality.
Use of these cookies is based on our legitimate interest in providing a functional website.
You can configure your browser to be notified about the use of cookies. This allows for transparency in its use. You can also delete cookies at any time and prevent the storage of new cookies via your browser settings. We would like to point out, however, that this may jeopardize the functioning of the website and make some features unavailable.
Tracking technologies for promotional purposes
We use cross-device tracking technologies that allow us to display targeted advertising on other websites based on your visit to our website. This allows us to evaluate the effectiveness of our advertising activities.
With your consent, provided via our banner, personal data is processed on the basis of your free, informed and unequivocal expression. Consent is optional and can be revoked at any time.
How does tracking work?
When you visit our website, the third parties listed below may access recognition elements of your browser or device (e.g., a browser fingerprint), assess your IP address, store or read cookies on your device, or use tracking pixels.
These elements allow third parties to recognize your device when you access other websites. We may contract such third parties to display advertisements based on the pages you have visited on our website.
What is cross-device tracking?
If you authenticate with the third-party provider using your login details, the recognition elements of the different browsers and devices can be correlated with each other. For example, if the provider has assigned a characteristic to each laptop, PC, smartphone or tablet you use, these characteristics can be linked when you log in to the provider's service. This allows the provider to target advertising campaigns in a personalized way on different devices.
Which third-party providers do we use for this purpose?
Below, we list the operators with whom we co-operate for the purpose of processing personal data for promotional purposes:
