The use of the OSDi LiveGuide app (the “app”) allows instructions or recommendations to be remotely exchanged between several persons via a mobile device. The electrical and/or mechanical operation of machines, systems, and tools may pose hazards in the respective area of activity.

As a result, please make sure that the following safety requirements are met before you use the app:

• Make sure that the operating instructions of the machines and tools in use are available and that you have read and understood their contents, especially the safety instructions.

• Make sure that the operator’s risk assessments for the applicable activities are known and are taken into account.

• Do not carry out activities that you are not authorized to carry out or for which you are not sufficiently qualified.

• Make sure that you can carry out the necessary activities on the machine, system, or tools.

• Before using LiveGuide App, check the relevant area of activity and remove potential hazards or take precautions to prevent risks.

• Please bear in mind that you are distracted when using the mobile device (e.g. smartphones) and remove all potential hazards.

• Do not execute any instructions that you have not correctly understood and in which you feel uncertain.

• If you are using LiveGuide with smart glasses, familiarize yourself with the use of the device and only use it if you can safely execute the instructions.

• Smart glasses influence your field of vision and your perception through a display. Make sure that you can still adequately perceive your environment. Take care during use and stop using the device in case of doubt.

• If potential hazards arise, immediately remove the smart glasses and place the mobile device aside so that your hands are free.
