Girls' and Boys' Day 2024 at the LMT Group - a huge success!
On April 25, the time had finally come: Girls' and Boys' Day 2024 started in cooperation with LMT Tools. We had the pleasure of offering the children a day full of learning fun and practical experience.
The morning started with informative presentations from LMT Tools and Fette Compacting, giving the children a first insight into the importance and application of our technologies. In the Academy and the training department, they were able to experience first-hand how our machines and tools work in practice.
The afternoon was all about practical experience. In the training workshop, the children were able to get hands-on under the guidance of our trainees. They worked on cutting machine projects by making clover leaves and overcame challenges in electrical engineering by constructing and assembling a hot wire. Playing with an old recruitment test also provided a fun and educational change of pace. These hand-on activities are essential to promote technical understanding as well as teamwork and creativity.
We are convinced that the Girls' and Boys' Day was not only a great experience for the children, but also inspired them to consider a possible future in the STEM professions. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to making this day an unforgettable experience and are already looking forward to the next Girls' and Boys' Day!
